THE WIN MILL
The Wolves' .938 winning percentage (7-0-1-0) leads the AHL and is the best start through eight games in franchise history. Chicago remains one of two clubs in the 29-team league that has not been defeated in regulation.

--- JESSE SCHULTZ: Posted Chicago's first hat trick of the season with a three-goal outing in Friday's win at Quad City ... Shares fifth in the AHL with a team-high six goals this season ... Ranks second on the squad with 10 points and is tied for second with a +5 plus/minus rating
--- JASON KROG: Dished out a team season-high three assists on Friday after being held off the scoresheet in two straight games for the first time as a member of the Wolves ... Shares third on the team with five assists and third with eight points this season Å Recorded 88 points in 52 career games in a Chicago uniform, which includes ranking fifth in the AHL with a career-high 54 assists and sharing seventh in the league with a career-best 80 points in 44 tilts with the Wolves last season
--- FRED BRATHWAITE: Recorded a team season-high 37 saves for his fifth win of the season on Friday, which shares sixth in the AHL ... Surrendered just one goal in each of his last three starts and has held opponents to two or fewer markers in four of his six outings this year ... Posted a 1.93 goals-against average - fourth-best in the league - and a .931 save percentage in six appearances this season
--- JORDAN LaVALLEE: Notched a career-high three points, which includes matching a career-best two goals, in Friday's win ... Leads the squad with three power-play goals, ranks second with five goals and is tied for third with eight points in eight games this season ... Placed second among Wolves rookies with 16 goals and third with 34 points in 79 outings last year
--- STEVE MARTINS: Paces the club and is tied for 20th in the AHL with 11 points in eight games this season, which includes matching a season-high two assists on Friday ... Leads the team with eight helpers and has collected multiple points in four of his eight outings this season
--- JOEY CRABB: Matched a career-high two assists for the second time this season in Friday's win ... Ranks second on the Wolves with six assists in eight games ... Accrued seven goals and 15 assists in his professional debut with the Wolves last season
--- NATHAN OYSTRICK: Netted his first goal of the season and tied a game-high +3 plus/minus rating on Friday ... Shares second on the team with a +5 plus/minus rating and has posted three assists and four points in eight games this season ... Earned a spot on the 2006-07 AHL Rookie Team and the 2006-07 AHL Second All Star Team after sharing fourth among league blueliners with 15 goals and ranking third among AHL defensemen with 47 points in 80 regular season games during his rookie year

--- Chicago's season-high seven-game road trip continues when the squad plays in four different cities over a five-day span starting on Wednesday; the team has posted a 1-0-1-0 mark on the swing so far.
--- Right wing JESSE SCHULTZ's three-goal effort on Friday was Chicago's first hat trick of the year and the franchise's 66th in 14 seasons of play; last year's squad tallied six three-goal performances.
--- The Wolves netted a season-high seven goals in Friday's win over Quad City; last season, Chicago potted seven or more goals 12 times en route to registering a franchise record and AHL-high 331 markers.
--- Chicago has held its opponents to just one goal in each of the last three contests; the Wolves are allowing an AHL-low 1.88 goals per game this season (15 markers in eight tilts).
--- Thirteen of the Wolves' 30 goals this season have been recorded on the power-play, which includes two in Friday's victory; Chicago, which has netted multiple man-advantage markers in four of the eight tilts, ranks fourth in the AHL on the power play at 20.6 percent (13 of 63).
