Connecticut Whale News Release
The Wolf Pack underwent their first three-games-in-three days challenge this past weekend, and they ended up 1-2-0-0 in the three contests. The Pack extended their first winning streak of the season to three games on Friday night, with a 4-3 win over the Worcester Sharks at the Hartford Civic Center, but then suffered their first back-to-back regulation losses of the young season. The Toronto Marlies handed the Wolf Pack a 5-2 home loss on Saturday night, and then the Pack dropped a 2-1 decision in Manchester Sunday, despite outshooting the Monarchs by a count of 35-29. Tom Pyatt was the Wolf Pack's top offensive player in the three games, tallying his first two pro goals and an assist Friday night and adding a helper in Saturday's game. Pierre Parenteau registered his first two-goal game in a Wolf Pack uniform in Saturday's loss.
