Wolves Return Caruso to Gwinnett

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender DAVE CARUSO from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

CARUSO notched his first career American Hockey League win in his Wolves and league debut on Saturday against Peoria. The 24-year-old netminder recorded 18 saves on 22 shots in 35:32 of relief work in the squad's 10-5 victory over the Rivermen. He has registered a 2-0-0 mark with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage in two outings with the Gladiators during his rookie season.
