
2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic tickets on sale Monday

Toronto, ON - In conjunction with the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies today announced that tickets for the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic will go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, November 13th at 10 a.m.
On Monday, fans may purchase 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic tickets at all TicketMaster locations, including Ricoh Coliseum, Air Canada Centre, by calling 416-872-5000 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca. Individual tickets for the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic will be available as follows:

Ticket prices include one ticket to the 2007 CCM AHL All-Star Skills Competition and one ticket to the 2007 AHL All-Star Game.
The 2007 CCM AHL All-Star Skills Competition, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 28th, will include players from the Canadian AHL All-Stars competing against players from PlanetUSA AHL All-Stars, a team comprised of the league's top players born outside of Canada. The teams will compete in seven different events: Puck Control Relay, Fastest Skater, Rapid Fire, Hardest Shot, Accuracy Shooting, Pass and Score, and Breakaway Relay.
The 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic concludes with the AHL All-Star Game, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EST on Monday, January 29th. The annual showcase features some of the finest young talent in the game. Since 1995, more than 92 per cent of the players who have suited up for an AHL All-Star Game have competed in the NHL, including Patrice Bergeron, Daniel Briere, Jonathan Cheechoo, Pavol Demitra, Rick DiPietro, Patrik Elias, Miikka Kiprusoff, Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal, Steve Sullivan and Kyle Wellwood, in addition to Marlies' alumnus John Pohl.
Now in its 71st season, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams, with more than 80 percent of today's NHL players have played in the American Hockey League. The 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic from Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, ON will be televised live on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada and on a network of regional broadcast partners in the United States.
The Ricoh Coliseum, located on Toronto's National Exhibition Grounds, is home to the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies - AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Toronto Maple Leafs.
