Worcester Sharks News Release

A Quick Look Back

11.4.06 - Springfield 3 - Worcester 2

The Sharks entered the MassMutual Center not having played a game in six days. Forward Mathieu Darche wasted little time putting Worcester up 1-0 and erased any thoughts the Sharks would come out rusty. Unfortunately, penalties plagued the Sharks could not find much offense for the rest of the game. Grant Stevenson had his second consecutive multi-point game with one goal and one assist, while Nolan Schaefer made 34 saves and was credited with his first loss of the season.

11.12.06 - Worcester vs. Bridgeport - Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard

The Sharks have yet to face off against the Sound Tigers this season. Currently, Bridgeport is 5-4-0-2 and ranks fourth in the East Division. The game will mark the third in a row for the Sharks after playing at home on Friday and Saturday.

For the fourth week in a row, Pavelski is leading all rookies with 15 points (3+12=15) in ten games. For his efforts, he will be awarded an etched crystal prior to a Sharks home game. The playmaking center leads all Sharks with 12 assists and is tied for the lead in points with Mathieu Darche with 15.
