Wolf Pack Weekly, December 9-15

December 9, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Hartford Wolf Pack News Release

The Wolf Pack (9-13-0-2, 20 pts.) played their first three-game weekend of the season this past weekend, and the team's run of ill fortune continued. The Adirondack Phantoms' Cal Heeter shut the Pack out on Friday night in Glens Falls, stopping 24 shots in a 3-0 Adirondack win. The Wolf Pack then played a home-and-home set with Springfield, which began with a 3-2 loss in Springfield on Saturday night. Hartford battled back from a 2-0 deficit in that game, with second-period goals by Ryan Bourque and Conor Allen, only to give up the game-winner 62 seconds after Allen had tied the game. Danny Syvret notched his first goal of the year in Sunday's rematch in Hartford, and Oscar Lindberg also scored, but Alex Aleardi had a goal and two assists to lead the Falcons to a 4-2 victory.
