
Minnesota Wild Assigns Forward Erik Haula to Iowa

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced on Monday the National Hockey League (NHL) club has assigned center Erik Haula (pronounced HOW-la) to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Haula, 22 (3/23/91), was recalled by Minnesota on Nov. 29 and made his NHL debut that night against Colorado registering an assist in 14:17 of ice time. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound native of Pori, Finland, recorded two assists and a plus-1 rating in six games with the Wild averaging 9:26 in TOI/game. Haula has collected 10 points (4-610) in 18 contests with Iowa this season.
The Wild continues a six-game road trip on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. (CT) at Abbotsford. After a second game on Thursday, Dec. 12, the team returns home on Sunday, Dec. 15 to host Rockford at 4:05 p.m. For Sunday's game, the team will hold its first Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to throw a stuffed animal on the ice for charity. Fans will be permitted to through Teddy Bears on the ice after the Wild score its first goal of the night. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44.
