Wolf Pack Release 2007-2008 Schedule

HARTFORD, August 7, 2007: The Hartford Wolf Pack announced today that they will open the 2007-08 season, the Pack's 11th season of AHL hockey play in Hartford, on Saturday, October 6th, taking on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for the first GEICO CT Cup challenge of the season at the Hartford Civic Center at 7:00 PM. Under the new management of Northland AEG LLC, this season the Wolf Pack will begin to offer $10 children's tickets (age 16 & under) - any child, any seat, any game. In addition, the Wolf Pack's individual game box office ticket prices will not increase this season. The arena configuration will be rescaled so that it is arranged into a clearer "upper" vs. "lower" bowl seating and pricing structure.
The Wolf Pack will face New England rivals Bridgeport and Springfield ten times each over the course of the season and will meet up with Atlantic Division foes, Lowell, Manchester, Portland, Providence and Worcester eight times each. The Pack will face East Division opponents the Norfolk Admirals four times and Hershey, Albany and Philadelphia two times apiece. The Pack will see North Division action this season, taking on the defending Calder Cup Champion Hamilton Bulldogs, Syracuse Crunch and Toronto Marlies twice each. The Pack's only Western Conference action will be two game sets against Houston and San Antonio---one on the road and one at home.
The schedule features 17 Saturday contests at the Hartford Civic Center, twelve Friday games, nine Wednesday match-ups and two Sunday dates. Starting time for all Wolf Pack home games is 7:00 PM, except for Sunday games, which begin at 4:00 PM.
Wolf Pack season tickets are on sale now, and individual game tickets will go on sale next month.
