Wolf Pack recall Wiikman from Charlotte

HARTFORD, November 21, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have recalled goaltender Miika Wiikman from their ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Wiikman played two games with the Wolf Pack this season before being loaned to Charlotte November 1st, compiling a 1-0-0 record with five goals-against on 39 shots (4.32 goals-against average, 87.2% save percentage). In four ECHL games with the Checkers, the Finnish import was 1-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and a 92.2% save percentage.

The Wolf Pack are in action at the Hartford Civic Center tonight against the Providence Bruins, with whom they are tied for first place in the Atlantic Division. Faceoff is 7:00. The Pack also play at home this Saturday night, November 24th, hosting the Lowell Devils at 7:00.
