AHL announces suspension

November 21, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that San Antonio Rampage defenseman Keith Yandle has been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Houston on Nov. 20.

Yandle was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.

He will miss San Antonio's game on Saturday (Nov. 24) vs. Milwaukee.
