The Chicago Wolves have signed goaltender CRAIG KOWALSKI (Koh-WAHL-skee.)

The 26-year-old netminder has appeared in nine contests with the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL) this season, and shares second in the league with six wins (6-2-1). He has posted a 2.43 goals-against average and .911 save percentage, which includes thwarting 18 of 24 shots on goal in the Gladiators 6-3 loss to Elmira last night.

Last season, KOWALSKI notched professional career-bests with 29 wins and a 2.61 goals-against average in 46 outings with the ECHL's Florida Everblades.

Overall, the Clinton Township, Mich., native, has accrued a 60-27-11 record and a 2.60 goals-against average in 100 career ECHL tilts. KOWALSKI also backstopped 20 American Hockey League games for the Lowell Lock Monsters during the 2005-06 season, collecting six wins (6-11-3) and a 3.38 goals-against average.

In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
