Victoria, British Columbia - The Utah Grizzlies will have a chance to clinch their fourth playoff berth in five years with a win tonight when they visit the Victoria Salmon Kings at 8:05 p.m. The series continues Friday and Saturday to complete the regular season.

Utah (32-28-4-5) also guaranteed their fourth season in the last five of .500 or better Saturday with a 7-4 win against Victoria. The Grizzlies are unbeaten in their last four games at 3-0-0-1 and 4-1-0-1 in their last six and will have six-foot-seven goaltender Mikko Koskinen between the pipes tonight as he looks to run his record to 5-0 with Utah.

With all eight teams in the National Conference above .500 and spots two-eight separated by five points, the Grizzlies would likely not know their opponent and first round series schedule until late Saturday night when the final ECHL game of the regular season completes between Alaska and Stockton.
