One-Day Playoff Ticket Offer Set For Thursday

(Boise, ID) - The ECHL's Idaho Steelheads and Qwest Arena are holding a one-day playoff ticket promotion on April 1st, but you have to visit the arena's box office in downtown Boise to cash in on the deal.

Fans purchasing tickets at the Qwest Arena box office for Idaho's playoff opener on Friday, April 16, will receive tickets for the Saturday, April 17, game for FREE.

And, while supplies last, each purchaser will receive an Idaho Steelheads t-shirt as well. T-shirts are limited to stock on hand, so come early to make sure you get your Steelheads shirt.

This offer is not available over the telephone or via the internet, only at the Qwest Arena box office and only on April 1st.

"Coach Laxdal and the players have earned the top seed in the National Conference as well as a first-round bye in the playoffs," Steelheads president Eric Trapp said. "And we want to reward them by making sure they're playing in front of big crowds when they return to action for the playoffs."

The Qwest Arena box office opens at 10 AM on Thursday and, because of this special offer, will stay open until 6 PM to accommodate fans who cannot get down to the box office until after work.

Idaho will be gunning for its third ECHL Kelly Cup championship, having previously won the league's championship in 2004 and 2007.

The Steelheads open up the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs on April 16 and 17 at Qwest Arena.
