Holt Assigned To Jackals, Dzielski Placed On Waivers

The Elmira Jackals announced Wednesday that they have received goaltender Chris Holt from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals have also placed defenseman Alex Dzielski on waivers.

Holt is 8-4-1-0 with the Jackals this season, posting a .901 save percentage and a 2.85 goals-against average. His last start with the Jackals came on Feb. 5 in a 4-1 win over Wheeling on the day Elmira took over first place in the East Division for the first time since Dec. 4, making 23 saves in the victory over the Nailers.

The Vancouver, British Columbia native made news on Mar. 19 when he became the 10th goaltender in AHL history to score a goal, sending a puck the length of the ice to preserve a 4-2 B-Sens win over Rochester. With the Senators this season, Holt is 16-5-0-1, with a .905 save percentage, a 2.95 goals-against average, and four shutouts.

Dzielski has recorded five penalty minutes in four games with the Jackals this season.
