Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that Canucks' contracted defenseman Taylor Ellington has been re-assigned to Victoria from Manitoba.
The 21-year-old rejoins Victoria after participating in two games earlier this week with Manitoba where he registered one goal and two minutes in penalties.
The Victoria, BC native has participated in 47 games with the Salmon Kings this season tallying 14 points (3g-11a) while serving 49 minutes in penalties. Ellington was also selected as one of two Victoria representatives at this year's 2010 ECHL All-Star Game in Ontario, CA.
