Countdown To Face-Off

First place in the ECHL's North Division will be on the line tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Cincinnati Cyclones. Tonight is the final regular season encounter between the teams. On the season, Kalamazoo is 5-7-1-1 versus Cincinnati and 4-1-1-1 at Wings Stadium.

Losing Sunday to Toledo, Kalamazoo's lead over Cincinnati in the North Division has shrunk to two points. With 89 points, the K-Wings are in second place in the American Conference and are two points behind the idle Charlotte Checkers.

Owning the tie-breaker over the K-Wings tonight is equally big for the Cyclones. Currently in fifth place in the American Conference, Cincinnati can move into second place in the conference with a win. Cincinnati is one point behind South Carolina for fourth and trail Charlotte by four points for first.

Fournier Receives Honor

On Tuesday, forward Andrew Fournier was named the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for March 22nd-28th. Fournier racked up eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) and was plus-6 in four games last week for Kalamazoo

Home Coming

Kalamazoo will finish the regular season with a three-game home stand. On the season, the K-Wings are 23-7-2-1 at Wings Stadium and are 12-1-0-1 at home since January 2nd.

Right at Home

Forward Dean Strong has definitely felt at home at Wings Stadium. Strong has earned points in all 13 games (8 goals, 11 assists) he has played on Vanrick Drive.

Recently, forward Mathieu Curadeau has been finding the back of the net. Curadeau starts the week on a three-game point and goal streak.
