U.S. Army Pre-game Camo Jersey To Be Auctioned At Playoff Games Tuesday and Friday

This Week in Condorstown:

Tuesday, April 10th: Condors forward Scott Borders will be live on KGET-TV 17 News at Sunrise, at 6:40 a.m., to discuss playoffs and the Blackout Rally Towel Giveaway at Tuesday's game.

Tuesday, April 10th: The Condors will face- off against the Fresno Falcons in Game One of the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs and present the U.S. Army Pre-game Camo Jersey Auction. Proceeds will go to the Active 20/30 Club who will then distribute all funds raised to help the underprivileged youth of Kern County. All pre- game warm up jerseys will be silent auctioned on the concourse behind section 110 at the games Tuesday and Friday. Todd Griffith's jersey will be auctioned live Tuesday during the 1st intermission and Andrew Oke's jersey will be auctioned live at the game Friday during the 1st intermission. The bidding for the jerseys will end at the start of the 3rd period on Friday.

All Fans in attendance will receive a Blackout Rally Towel, courtesy of Goodwill Industries and KGET- TV 17, and should wear black to blackout the Falcons! Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Thursday, April 12th: Condors Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will visit Wayside Elementary for the Reach for Greatness Mentoring Programs at 1:30 p.m. Watts mentors kids to help them make better choices for their future. Thursday, April 12th: The Condors Coach's Show will be on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230M at 6 p.m. Due to the team's travel schedule, the Coach's Show will be pre-recorded and will not be live at the Q Street Lounge at the Holiday Inn Select. This week's show will feature special guests Condors players Sean Venedam and Kevin St. Jacques as they'll join Head Coach Marty Raymond and Voice of the Condors Jake Stevens to discuss the playoff series against Fresno

Friday, April 13th: The Condors battle the Fresno Falcons for Game Three of the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs. All Fans in attendance will receive a replica Jamie Hodson goalie mask, thanks to Goodwill Industries and KGET-TV 17, and are encouraged to wear black to blackout the Falcons! This game will also conclude the silent auction for the U.S. Army Pre-game Camo Jersey Auction at the start of the 3rd period. Don't miss the live auction during the 1st intermission for Andrew Oke's jersey. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 14th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will be out at Bakersfield College for Friday Night Live's 24 Hour Relay at 8:30 a.m. The relay is a community fundraising project that benefits youth involvement programs in Kern County and will include over 30 teams made up of community members and schools. All participants will walk or run laps while rotating with other team members for 24 hours. For more information regarding the 24 Relay please contact Lorena Diaz at 868-6804.

Sunday, April 15th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend the Bakersfield Blaze game for Heater's Birthday Celebration at noon. Alongside the Kern County Fire Department, Colonel Claw'd, Heater and other local mascots will encourage fans to bring toys for Heater's Toy Drive that will benefit children at the St. Jude Research Hospital. Week In Review:

Wednesday, April 4th: The Condors held the Community Connection for Childcare Cell Phone and Printer Cartridge Collection Night where all fans in attendance received admission to the game for a buck by donating their old cell phones, empty inkjets and laser or fax cartridges. The event pulled in more than 100 items that will be properly recycled by the Community Connection for Childcare.

Playoff tickets are now available to the public and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, by phone at 322-2525 or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets for 2007-08 are also available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).
