'Blades announce first round playoff scenarios

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today their two possible first round playoff series scenarios. The Everblades, by virtue of finishing first in the division, will await the winner of the best-of-three series between the Charlotte Checkers and the Augusta Lynx. The following are the two playoff schedules based on the Everblades playing each opponent.

If the Everblades play the Augusta Lynx, the first round best-of-five schedule would be as follows:

GAME 1 - Friday, April 13 - Augusta at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

GAME 2 - Saturday, April 14 - Augusta at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

GAME 3 - Thursday, April 19 - Florida at Augusta, 7:35 p.m. @ James Brown Arena

GAME 4* - Saturday, April 21 - Florida at Augusta, 7:35 p.m. @ James Brown Arena

GAME 5* - Sunday, April 22 - Augusta at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

If the Everblades play the Charlotte Checkers, the first round best-of-five schedule would be as follows:

GAME 1 - Friday, April 13 - Charlotte at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

GAME 2 - Saturday, April 14 - Charlotte at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

GAME 3 - Tuesday, April 17 - Florida at Charlotte, 7:05 p.m. @ Charlotte Bobcats Arena

GAME 4* - Thursday, April 19 - Florida at Charlotte, 7:05 p.m. @ Charlotte Bobcats Arena

GAME 5* - Sunday, April 22 - Charlotte at Florida, 6:00 p.m. @ Germain Arena

* - If Necessary

Tickets for playoff games "A" & "B" are on sale now, and can be purchased at the Germain Arena box office, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
