April 9, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors ended the regular season with 94 points to set a team single-season record, despite losing all three games they played last week. Over the season, the Condors broke many team records including finishing the regular season with 20 road wins and their 94 points in a season. The Condors also had a 12-game unbeaten streak and a 12-game road unbeaten streak during the year. They won 41 games, which tied a team record, and won seven straight games on the road to tie another team mark.
The Condors had to wait until Saturday night to find out who they were playing in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. On the final night of the regular season, Fresno gained a point in an overtime loss to the Idaho Steelheads to lock up the 6th seed and knock the Victoria Salmon Kings into the 7th seed to set up a rematch of last year's Pacific Division Finals.
