ON THE SCORESHEET

- Colin Smith scored the game winning goal 2:32 into overtime, recording his 18th goal of the season. Since being acquired in a trade, Smith has recorded 11 points in 11 games.

- Brendan Leipsic forced overtime scoring his 18th goal of the season with 2:36 remaining in regulation.

- TJ Brennan recorded two assists on both the game-tying and game winning goal. He reaches the 60 point mark for the second time in his career.

- Tobias Lindberg collected two assists on the evening. In 15 games since joining the Marlies he has recorded four goals and five assists.

- Sam Carrick scored his 12th goal of the season to open the scoring for the Marlies on the power play. The centreman has six points in his last five games.

- Alex Stalock turned aside 23 shots to earn his first victory in a Marlies uniform. Since joining the team he has posted a 1-2-0-0 record with a 2.66 goals against average and .907 save percentage.

NOTABLES

- This was the final meeting between the Phantoms and Marlies. Toronto earned a 2-0-0-0 record, outscoring Lehigh Valley 6-3.

- The Marlies recorded their sixth victory when trailing after the second period. The win improves Toronto's record to 13-2-1-0 in Friday night contests.

- Toronto improves to 16-1-0-0 when scoring three goals in a game and to 31-7-2-0 when out-shooting their opponents.
