IceCaps Sign Ward to ATO

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Montreal Canadiens and St. John's IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have signed forward Cory Ward to a 25-game Amateur Tryout contract (ATO).
The 22-year-old, Las Vegas, NV native has spent the past four seasons with Bemidji State University of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), collecting 45 goals and 80 points.
The five-foot-11, 200-pounder will join the IceCaps in Syracuse tomorrow for the club's seven-game road trip.
