
Coyotes Recall Philip Samuelsson from Falcons

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Philip Samuelsson (on emergency basis) from the Springfield Falcons.
The 24-year-old Samuelsson has recorded 4-26-30 in 53 games with Springfield this season. The Leksand, Sweden native has played in nine NHL games, including four games with Arizona during the 2014-15 campaign. Samuelsson was drafted out of Boston College by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round (61st overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.
The Falcons will play the Hartford Wolf Pack in a home-and-home series this weekend. The first game will be in Hartford at the XL Center on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The weekend finale will take place at the MassMutual Center on Sunday night at 5:00 p.m. The game features the team poster giveaway and full team autograph session sponsored by Xfinity.
