- William Nylander scored the game winner and added three assists; he is now second in AHL scoring. He is on a seven game point streak where he has collected 13 points.

- Josh Leivo led the offensive charge for the Marlies recording two goals and two assists, including two points on the power play.

- Mark Arcobello scored twice, extending his point streak to six games. He has 10 points in that span.

- Sam Carrick scored the game tying goal and added an assist and he now has three points in three games since returning from his suspension. He directed a team high five shots towards the St. John's net.

- Richard Panik recorded three assists. He has 10 points in his past seven games.

- Zach Hyman recorded his second goal of the season and added an assist for his fifth and sixth points of the season.

- The Marlies and Ice Caps tied an AHL record for the most goals scored in a tie game after regulation (8-8).

- The final score tonight ties for second amongst highest scoring AHL games since 1998. The highest was 18 goals in 2010.
