Toronto Concludes Road Trip with 4-1 Victory over Rochester

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, by a score of 4-1 tonight at the Blue Cross Arena.

Despite the Marlies posting a 13-7 edge in shots during the first period, Cody McCormick notched the only goal at 5:11. Joe Colborne's 13th goal of the season tied the game just past the midway point of the middle frame. Rookie forward Brad Ross tallied the game winning goal at 15:01 of the third period. Paul Ranger and Jerry D'Amigo added empty net markers to secure the victory.

The Marlies return to the ice tomorrow afternoon when they host the Abbotsford Heat, AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, at 3 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825).
