Toledo's Nagle Named Warrior Hockey/ECHL Goaltender of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pat Nagle of the Toledo Walleye is the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for February. It is the second time this season that Nagle has received the monthly honor.

The 30-year-old went 8-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.72 goals-against average and a save percentage of .942 during the month.

A native of Bloomfield, Michigan, Nagle allowed two goals or less in six of his eight starts and made at least 27 saves five times. He made a season-high 44 saves in a 4-2 win at Indy on Feb. 3 and stopped all 28 shots he faced in a 1-0 victory against Wichita on Feb. 11 for his second shutout of the season.

Under contract to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League, Nagle is 27-4-2 in 36 appearances with the Walleye this season. He leads the ECHL in wins while ranking seventh with a 2.29 goals-against average and tied for sixth with a .921 save percentage.

Nagle has appeared in 258 career ECHL games with Toledo, Fort Wayne, Idaho and Florida posting an overall record of 150-63-27 with 12 shutouts, a 2.57 goals-against average and a save percentage of .913. His 150 career wins are seventh all-time in league history.

He has also seen action in seven career AHL games with Syracuse, Rochester,?Grand Rapids and Utica.

Runners Up: Martin Ouellette, Florida (6-1-2, 1.63 GAA, .934 save pct.), Branden Komm, Reading (5-0-0, 2 shutouts, 0.98 GAA, .967 save pct.) and Parker Milner, South Carolina (5-0-1, 1.32 GAA, .952 save pct.).

Also Nominated: Michael Houser (Fort Wayne), Matt Tomkins (Indy), Devin Williams (Tulsa) and Joel Rumpel (Utah).
