STORM NOTES

- We are Streaking! Toledo won both games this past weekend and has started a six game home stand with four consecutive victories. The 7-2-1 start by the Storm is Toledo's best 10 game start since the 2002-03 season when the Storm was 8-1-1 through ten games.

- No Goals For You! Toledo has allowed just two goals over their last three games (0.66 per game). In the previous seven games, the Storm had allowed 28 goals (3.90 per game).

- Home Cooking! The Storm has used One Main Street as their play land to start the year. Toledo is 6-0-1 at home this season.

- Going Koopy for Koopmans! Logan Koopmans made his return to the Storm nets Friday night against Wheeling. 23 saves later, Logan posted his first shutout of the season, and the first by a Toledo goaltender this season. It was the third career shutout for Logan.

- Power Play! Toledo has 19 power play goals in 92 opportunities this season. The Storm rank 8th in the ECHL at 20.7%.

- Penalty Kill! The Storm is ranked 12th in the league in kill percentage at 83.1%. Toledo has allowed 12 goals in 71 times shorthanded this year.

STORM WATCH

- The Toledo Storm Coach's Show is this Tuesday evening from 6-7pm at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company inside the Oliver House, Downtown Toledo. Head Coach Nick Vitucci and Storm defenseman Jeff Lang will join Matt Melzak for insight and conversation on the start of the 2005-06 season and what lies ahead for the Storm. The Storm Coach's Show can be heard live on Dominion 1520 JAMZ, which is the home of Toledo Storm Hockey.

- The Storm returns to action this Friday night against Stockton Thunder. Stockton (formerly Atlantic City) boasts three former Storm forwards. Maris Ziedins and Steve Sloninia played with last years Storm, and Landon Bathe played here in 2003-04. The Thunder are 2-3-2 on the season and are led by Mike Lalonde, who has 8 goals and 5 assists.

- Saturday night the Johnstown Chiefs come to Toledo for the second time this season. Toledo is 2-0-0 against the Chiefs with a 5-4 overtime win in Johnstown and a 6-2 drubbing at the Sports Arena. Johnstown is still looking for its first win of the 2005-06 campaign. Saturday night's game will be shown on a tape delay basis on BCSN.

STORM PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Ken Magowan (2 goals - 1 assist = 3 points)

Ken collected his third two-goal game of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over Trenton.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:

Logan Koopmans (1-1-0, 3.01 gaa, 0.900 save%)

Logan posted the first Toledo shutout of the season last Friday night.
