. The Falcons were forced into a must-score situation twice during Saturday's shootout. Brett Hammond scored in the clutch to force a sixth round, which was followed by Shawn Weiman's effort that staved off sudden-death and forced a seventh round.
. Luke Curtin is second in the league in both points (18) and assists (11).
. Shawn Mather is tied for second league-wide with five power play goals.
. With Saturday's win against the Gulls, the Falcons are now 6-0-0 against the Pacific Division this season. They own a four-point lead over the second-place Long Beach Ice Dogs and a seven point edge over third-place Bakersfield and San Diego as the week begins.
