INFERNO COACH'S SHOW:
Wednesday, November 16th at 7pm. Defenseman Gary Gladue and Goaltender Rob Gherson will our special guests on the show. Come join us live at The Tap Room, located at The Tap Room on Bower Parkway off of Harbison Blvd. The Tap Room is located right next door to the Columbiana Grand Movie Theatre. The Tap Room is home to 50 different beers on tap including root beer. Enjoy their great menu of dinner items, including their Texas Tumbleweed Rolls, Ahi Tuna, Brew Pub Style Roast Beef Sandwich and the Spinach and Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. You can also listen on ESPN 93.1FM from 7pm - 8pm.
THE WEEK AHEAD
Tuesday, November 15th @ Greenville Grrrowl 10:35am Bi-Lo Center
The Inferno is 2-0-0 this season against the Grrrowl and 25-7-3 all-time. This is the third of 10 meetings between the Inferno and Grrrowl. Greenville is in tied for sixth place with 8 points (4-4-0), along with Florida. The last time these two teams met there was 170 penalty minutes, 105 went to Greenville.
Friday, November 18th vs. Augusta Lynx 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum
Augusta is in fourth place in the South Division with 10 points (4-3-2). The Inferno is 1-0-1 against the Lynx this season and 16-10-6 all-time. This is the third of nine games between the Inferno and Lynx. Last time these two teams met the Inferno won 4-2.

Friday, November 11th COLUMBIA 4 Augusta 2
Bonk opened the scoring with a power play goal at 15:33 of the first period, and assisted on the next two markers help the Inferno (6-2-1) to a 3-0 lead. Justin Aikins scored Columbia's second power play goal to make it 2-0 just three minutes into the second period, followed by Leon Hayward's even strength marker. Mike Stathopoulos opened up a 4-0 lead for the Inferno at 5:38 of the third period. Robert Gherson would make 33 saves to earn the win for the Inferno. Columbia finished 2-for-4 with the man advantage while the Lynx ended the night 0-for-4.
Saturday, November 12th COLUMBIA 5 Greenville 0
The Inferno shut out the Greenville Grrrowl, 5-0, Saturday night at the BI-LO Center. In a game that saw 170 total penalty minutes and nine misconducts, the Inferno scored three goals in the first period and two in the third with three players recording their first goal of the season. Chris Houle stopped all 37 shots to record his first shutout of the season. The Inferno jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 23 seconds into game, capitalizing on a defensive-zone turnover. Jay Legault scored his first of the season for the 1-0 lead. Eric Nelson, also scoring his first goal of the season, made it a 2-0 Inferno lead at 4:54 of the first, and F.P. Guenette made it 3-0 before the period's end. The Grrrowl outshot the Inferno 16-5 in the second, but couldn't slip one past Houle and skated into the third period down 3-0. After Guenette scored his second of the night just 1:24 into the third, Gary Gladue made it 5-0 during an extensive power play, his first of the season.
Sunday, November 13th COLUMBIA 4 Pensacola 2
The Columbia Inferno won their fourth game in a row and finished the weekend with a win over the Pensacola Ice Pilots, 4-2. Mike Stathopoulos scored his fifth goal of the season at 3:24 of the first period to opening the scoring for the Inferno. Leon Hayward gave the Inferno a 2-0 lead with a power play goal at 19:08 with help from Dave Bonk and Stathopoulos. Eric Nelson scored his second goal of the season at 10:21 of the second period with assists to Stathopoulos and Dallas Flaman. Pensacola scored their first goal of the night on a shorthanded opportunity at 17:42. John Longo added the insurance goal with 4 seconds left in the second period as he scores his first of the season. Chris St. Jacques gave the Ice Pilots their second shorthanded goal of the night at 7:26 of the third period. Rob Gherson still remains unbeaten as he improves his record to 4-0-1 as he stopped 23 of 25 shots on goal.
