
Wranglers undefeated at home, best record in ECHL

Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 3-0-0 record this week with wins over Fresno and Bakersfield. Las Vegas defeated Fresno 5-2 at the Orleans Arena last Tuesday night. On Friday night, the Wranglers followed up with a 6-2 victory over the Bakersfield. Las Vegas capped off their week with a come-from-behind 4-3 shootout win on Saturday over the Condors. Las Vegas owns a .813 winning percentage, the best in the ECHL.
The Wranglers will play their next four games on the road with stops in Anchorage and Fresno. Las Vegas will visit the Alaska Aces on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The Wranglers will stop in Fresno next Tuesday before returning home on Friday, November 25th.

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Fresno Falcons 5-2 on Tuesday night in front of 3,564 fans at the Orleans Arena. Left wing Dan Tudin scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead Las Vegas. Centers Matt Dzieduszycki and Dustin Johner, and right wing Steve Crampton each added a goal in the victory. Center Derek Edwardson dished out two assists. Goalie Marc Magliarditi made 23 saves, improving to 4-1-0. The two teams combined for 142 penalty minutes, including 112 penalty minutes in the third.

Bakersfield 2 at Las Vegas 6
Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Bakersfield Condors 6-2 in front of 6,240 fans. Wranglers' goalie Marc Magliarditi made 18 saves to improve his record to 5-1-0 for the season. Forwards Dustin Johner, Derek Edwardson, Chris Stanley, Sean O'Connor, Todd Alexander, and Dan Tudin each scored a goal for Las Vegas in the win. Eleven different players registered a point in the victory. Rookie defenseman Tim Hambly set a new, single-game team record with a +5 rating. The former record of +4 was set by defenseman Jason McBain on January 31st, 2004.
Saturday, November 12th
Bakersfield 3 at Las Vegas 4 SO
Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Bakersfield Condors 4-3 in front of 5,099 fans at the Orleans Arena. Defenseman Scott Schoneck tied the game at three with his first goal of the season with only 2:04 remaining in the game. Center Derek Edwardson and winger Sean O'Connor both scored in the shootout to help Las Vegas advance to 5-0-0 at home this season. Goalie Mike McKenna picked up his first professional win with 21 saves in the game and by stuffing four of five Bakersfield shootout attempts. Condors' winger Sean Venedam scored two goals in the loss. Las Vegas center Chris Stanley paced the Wranglers with a goal and an assist. Defenseman Tim Hambly scored the Wranglers first goal of the night.
Wranglers Roster Gets Shuffled, Johner to Omaha
The Las Vegas Wranglers completed multiple transactions this past week starting with right wing / center Dustin Johner getting recalled
by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League yesterday. Defenseman Adam Pardy was re-assigned by the Knights on Friday. Forward Sean O'Connor was activated from the injured reserve, while forward Marco Peluso and defenseman Lee Green were both placed on the seven-day injured reserve. Left wing Adam Huxley was moved from the seven-day injured reserve to the 30-day injured reserve.
This Week's Opponent-
Alaska Aces - (6-3-2, 14 Points) - The Aces return ten players from last year's team that posted a 45-19-8 record. Center Scott Gomez returned to the NHL's New Jersey Devils after leading the Aces to the Conference Finals last season. Right wing Chris Minard is back after scoring a league-leading 49 goals last season. Minard has scored four goals and assisted on four others for eight points in his first 11 games. Former Wranglers' defenseman Ryan Gaucher returns to the Aces for a second season in Anchorage. Gaucher has two goals and five assists for seven points in 11 games.
