Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
Ice Pilots win vs. Charlotte and lose at Columbia: The Ice Pilots defeated the Charlotte Checkers on Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center 3-2. Dominic Noel, Brain Collins and Nick Lindberg scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie and Jeff Glass took the loss in goal for Charlotte. The Ice Pilots had 44 shots on goal, 14 penalty minutes and went 0-4 on the power play. Charlotte had 48 shots on goal, 12 penalty minutes and went 1-6 on the power play.
The Ice Pilots lost at Columbia on Sunday afternoon 4-2. David Turon and Chris St. Jacques both scored shorthanded goals for the Ice Pilots. Mike Stathopoulos, Leon Hayward, Eric Nelson and John Longo scored goals for Columbia. The Ice Pilots had 25 shots on goal, 25 penalty minutes and went 0-6 on the power play. Columbia had 29 shots on goal, 21 penalty minutes and went 1-8 on the power play.
The Ice Pilots have a record of 2-5-1 for 5 points and will play at Gwinnett on Tuesday night at 6:05 p.m. central time and also play at home on Sunday vs. Augusta at 4:05 p.m.
The Ice Pilots play at Gwinnett this Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots lost to Gwinnett earlier in the season at home 6-0. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 3-3-0 vs. the Gladiators including a record of 1-2-0 at home and 2-1-0 on the road.
The Ice Pilots will play home on Sunday vs. Augusta at 4:05 p.m. The Stanley Cup will be on display at the game to help in the Hurricane Relief Efforts. Fans can have their picture taken with the Stanley Cup with donations going to the Hurricane Relief Efforts. The Ice Pilots are 0-1 vs. Augusta this season losing 3-2 at home. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 16-4-4 vs. Augusta including a record of 8-1-1 at home and 8-3-2 on the road.
Tentative Practice Schedule this Week: The Ice Pilots will practice 11:3 0 a.m. on Monday. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Tuesday morning and play at Gwinnett at 6:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have off ice workouts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Ice Pilots will practice Saturday at a time to be announced and will play home on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. The practice schedule can change based on the availability of ice at the civic center.
Dodge Player of the Week. Nick Lindberg has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the Week. Lindberg scored the game winning goal vs. Charlotte on Friday night and picked up an assist in the loss at Columbia. Lindberg has a five game point scoring streak. Frederic Cloutier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Cloutier went 1-1 this past week stopping 46 out of 48 shots in the 3-2 win vs. Charlotte and stopping 25 out of 29 shots at Columbia. Lindberg has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.

Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game.

can meet the players, head coach Rick Adduono and members of the Ice Pilots front
office staff all season long. The next Ice Pilots radio show is Monday, November 21
