Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans of the ECHL announced today that they have acquired defenseman Chris Barr from the Florence Pride in exchange for financial considerations.

"We are excited to have Chris as part of the organization," Head Coach, Bill Armstrong stated. "He's a physical player and should provide a steady presence on our blueline."

Playing his first professional season this year with the Pride, Barr has no points and 15 PIM over 10 games.

The Trenton Titans also announced that defenseman Dave MacIsaac has been suspended indefinitely. MacIssac has decided to pursue his hockey interests in Italy. His suspension allows the Titans to retain his rights. MacIsaac had 3 points (0G, 3A) and 49 PIM in 10 games with Trenton.

"We understand why he made the decision he made," said President and General Manager, Rich Lisk. "He was a great player for the Titans while he was here. The organization wishes him and his family nothing but the best in their future endeavors." Mathieu Brunelle was recalled by the Philadelphia Phantoms, the Titans AHL affiliate. Brunelle had 1 goal and 7 assists in 11 games for Trenton.

The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Trenton Titans play at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ.
