Toledo defenseman Paul Ballantyne scored his second even-strength goal of the game, just 1:39 into overtime, as the Storm beat the Royals, 2-1 at the Sovereign Center. Reading led for the majority of the contest, thanks to Judd Medak's second goal of the season 27 seconds into the first stanza. Ballantyne got Toledo even with 4:58 remaining in regulation on a goal assisted by Alexander Jacques and Rick Judson. Drew MacIntyre stole the show for the Storm, stopping 38 shots to record his third win of the season.
The Royals return to action on Saturday, November 15th, as they battle the Nailers in Wheeling at 7:05 pm. Reading then returns home on Sunday, November 16th, for a 5:05 pm faceoff against the Greensboro Generals.
