Pride get pair from Norfolk

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. â The Norfolk Admirals announced today that defenseman Vladimir Gusev and forward Nicolas Corbeil have been reassigned to the team' s ECHL affiliate, the Florence Pride.
Gusev, originally drafted by Chicago (NHL) in the fourth round (115th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, skated in 10 games for the Admirals this season, his first as a pro in North America. He registered one assist (one point), 10 penalty minutes and a minus-two plus/minus rating for the Blue and Gold. Corbeil, signed to an AHL contract by the Admirals on August 6, 2003, was recalled from Florence on November 9 and made his AHL debut last night with Norfolk, going scoreless, with one shot and an even rating.
