
Thunder Acquire Perdicaro from Gwinnett

Wichita, KS (February 6th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon the acquisition of forward Anthony Perdicaro from the Gwinnett Gladiators for future considerations.
Perdicaro, 25, has appeared in 24 games this season for the Gladiators, recording nine points (3g, 6a) and 72 penalty minutes. A native of East Rockaway, NY, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward is in his sixth season as a pro. Last season, he split time with the St. Charles Chill, Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League and the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. In 220 games as a professional, Perdicaro has 145 points (69g, 76a) and 558 penalty minutes. Perdicaro is no stranger to Wichita, having played against the Thunder as a member of Rapid City, Quad City Mallards and Chill. His best season came during the 2012-13 season as a member of the Mallards, tallying 43 points (16g, 27a) and racking up 103 penalty minutes.
Wichita starts a two-game set tonight against the Quad City Mallards at the i-Wireless Center at 7:05 p.m.
