
Three Titans Get the Call

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans announced last night that forward Nick Deschenes has been recalled by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL. In a separate transaction forward Bryce Cockburn and defenseman Jay Leach have also been loaned to the Providence Bruins (AHL).
Deschenes, sent down to the Titans on December 11, was scoreless in two games over the weekend. Cockburn - 6'00", 200 lbs, gets his first call-up of his rookie season. The native of Campbell River, BC has 10 points (5g, 5a) and 4 PIM in 22 games for the Titans.
Leach, newly acquired from the Long Beach Ice Dogs on December 11, had two assists over two games this weekend for Trenton. It will be the third-year pro's second stint with the Bruins this season.
The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Titans next home game come to Sovereign Bank Arena for a weekend of exhibition play against the Spartak of the Russian Elite League. The Titans will skate against Spartak on Saturday, December 27 at 7:00pm and Sunday, December 28 at 3:00pm. For ticket information, call a Titans Sales Representative at 609.599.9500.
