Wednesday, December 17th @ Greensboro Generals 7:00pm Greensboro Coliseum Complex
The Inferno is 1-1-0 this season against the Generals and 2-4-3 all-time. The Generals are tied for second place in the Southern Division with 31 points. Columbia has two games in hand on Greensboro.
Friday, December 19th vs. Roanoke Express 7:30pm Carolina Coliseum
Roanoke is tied for second place in the Southern Division with 31 points. Columbia has played three games less than the Express. The Inferno is 0-0-1 this season against the Express and 2-0-1 all-time.
Saturday, December 20th @ Augusta Lynx 7:35pm Richmond Civic Center
This is the third meeting between the Lynx and Inferno. Augusta is in fifth place with 22 points (10-10-2) in the Central Division of the Western Conference. The Inferno is 1-1-0 against the Lynx this season.
Sunday, December 21st vs. Charlotte Checkers 4pm Carolina Coliseum
The last time these two teams met was on November 1st when the Inferno beat the Checkers 4-3 in overtime. The Inferno is 8-2-1 all-time against Charlotte and 1-0-0 this season. Charlotte is in sixth place with 25 points in the Southern Division.

Friday, December 12th Columbia 3 FLORIDA 5
The Florida Everblades scored the first three goals of the game as they beat the Columbia Inferno 5-3 Friday night in Estero, Florida. The Everblades had a shorthanded, even straight and power play goal to give them a 3-0 lead by the 2:44 mark of the second period. Dennis Vial got his first goal of the season, unassisted, as he took a shot from the point and the puck landed in the corner of the net at 3:41 into the second period. Florida scored their fourth goal of the night just three minutes later by Gray Shaneberger. Columbia would not back down as Barrie Moore scored the second goal for the Inferno at the 16:20 mark with an assist to Robin Carruthers. With only 41 seconds left in the second period, Chris Pittman scored on the power play with passes from Jesse Schultz and Derek Eastman to bring the Inferno within one goal. The Inferno fought hard in the third period with 19 shots on goal but came up short. The Everblades scored on the empty net at 19:39 to seal the win.
Saturday, December 13th COLUMBIA 4 Florida 3 (OT)
The Florida Everblades had a 2-0 lead going into the second period but the Inferno rallied back to win 4-3 in overtime in a very critical game in the Southern Division. Columbia started their scoring with a goal by Terry Harrison off of a shot from the blue line by Corey Hessler at 4:10 of the second period to move within one goal. Robin Carruthers scored his 10th goal of the season at 5:51 of the third period to tie the game at two a piece. Hessler recorded his second assist of the night. Florida's Brent McDonald scored the go ahead goal at the 13:51 mark as they took a 3-2 lead. Three minutes later, Alex Burrows, just assigned to Columbia by the Manitoba Moose, scored the tying goal to push the game into overtime for the Inferno with an assist to Carruthers. At 2:43 of the overtime period, Chris St. Croix scored the game-winning goal on the power play with a pass from Derek Eastman as the Inferno take two points on the road against Florida. The win puts Columbia five points behind Florida with three games at hand.
