- The Toledo Storm finished the week at 0-1-1. The Storm has compiled an overall record of 9-10-3. Toledo is eighth in the Northern Division.

- Toledo lost to Wheeling 4-2 on Friday night. Toledo then suffered it's first defeat in overtime to Reading on Sunday 2-1.

- Toledo is now 6-1-2 in games that go past regulation.

- With his goal on Sunday, Dustin Kingston now is averaging a point per contest with the Toledo Storm. Dustin has seven points (2-5) in seven games since the November 24th trade with Charlotte. Dustin scored a key goal with only 3.5 seconds left in the second period on Sunday to secure a point in Reading.

- A warm welcome to Kris Waltze! In his first action with the Storm this season, Kris dropped the gloves and took on T.J. Reynolds of Wheeling at 7:12 of the first period on Friday night. On Sunday, just 1:54 into the first period, Waltze took on Dave Stewart of Reading.

- Morten Ask added two more assists on Friday, and his 20 points (7-13) currently leads the Storm in that category. Morten now has 6-multiple point games this season after Friday's 2-assist night. Morten is tied with Alexandre Jacques for the team lead with 6-multiple point games.

- Sunday's start for Doug Teskey marked his sixth straight. In the absence of Drew MacIntyre, Doug has gone 1-2-2 with 3.59 goals against average and a .889 save percentage in those games.

- The Power Play starts to heat up! Toledo's power play went 2 for 8 over the weekend. It is 15 for 116 (12.90%) on the season, and is ranked 23rd in the ECHL.

- The Penalty Kill is also sharp! The Storm's penalty kill units went a perfect 13 for 13 over the weekend. Toledo's penalty kill is now ranked 11th in the ECHL, killing off 98 of the 112 times shorthanded (84.80%).

- Toledo is 4-6-2 on the road this year.

- Toledo is 5-4-1 at home this season.

- Toledo returns to the Toledo Sports Arena Friday and Saturday for 2 games against the Trenton Titans.

- The Coaches Show is this Wednesday night at 8pm live at the Downtown Frickers, and can be heard on the 97.3 the Fox.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Dustin Kingston (1 goal - 0 assists = 1 point)

Dustin netted his goal of the weekend on Sunday with just 3.5 seconds remaining in the second period. That secured a point for the Storm even though they lost in overtime to the Reading Royals. Dustin has 7 points in seven games with Toledo.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Doug Teskey (0-1-1, 2.96 gaa, 0.920 save%)

Doug Teskey started both contests this week going 0-1-1. This weekend Doug stopped 69 of the 75 shots he faced. Teskey stopped all 17 shots he faced in Sunday's first period at Reading. Doug also made 16 saves in the second period Friday night at Wheeling.
