ALLENTOWN, PA -- The Indianapolis Indians offense plated four runs in the first two innings on Friday night, and Casey Sadler held the Lehigh Valley IronPigs' bats in check as the Tribe rolled to a 5-2 victory. Alen Hanson drove home two runs with a single in the three-run second inning, and he finished his night with a pair of hits and a stolen base.

Sadler (5-3) worked seven innings and allowed just two runs on six hits. He had his sinker working as the right-hander induced 11 groundouts in getting the win for Indianapolis (33-23). Blake Wood recorded his league-leading 15th save of the season in the ninth.

Starter Jason Berken (3-3) worked seven innings as well for Lehigh Valley (21-35), but he allowed four earned runs and received the loss.

Jaff Decker put Indianapolis on the board in the top of the first when he doubled home Gustavo Nunez. Gorkys Hernandez commenced the scoring in the second with a single that plated Mel Rojas Jr., and Hanson followed later in the frame with his two-run hit.

The IronPigs cut the lead to 4-2 in the fifth, but Brent Morel salted the lead in the ninth with a pinch-hit single that sent home Keon Broxton.
