(Rochester, NY) - Friday night's International League game between Pawtucket and Rochester was suspended by heavy rains after two innings with the Red Wings leading 1-0. The game will be resumed on Monday, June 29th at 5:05 pm when the PawSox next return to Frontier Field.

Rochester scored the game's lone run thus far in the bottom of the first inning against Pawtucket starter Zeke Spruill. After Reynaldo Rodriguez singled with one out, Oswaldo Arcia lined an RBI double to right-center to make the score 1-0.

Later in the inning with two Red Wings on base, Jackie Bradley, Jr. made a fantastic running catch right before the fence in dead centerfield to rob Danny Ortiz and likely save two runs. Spruill worked through a scoreless second inning with the help of a double play grounder right before the delay began at 7:39 pm.

Red Wings starter Pat Dean allowed two hits in two scoreless innings while collecting one strikeout. Deven Marrero and Travis Shaw each singled in the first, but Arcia made a catch on the right field warning track on Allen Craig's deep drive to prevent Pawtucket from scoring.

The PawSox six-game road trip now continues to Syracuse over the weekend for the final two games. Game one of the series is scheduled for a 7:05pm first pitch on Saturday night. Right-hander Jess Todd (1-1, 4.10) is expected to start for the PawSox while the Chiefs counter with righty P.J. Walters (NR). Radio coverage on 920 AM (WHJJ) and also streaming online begins at 6:50 pm.

The PawSox return home on Monday, June 8th to welcome Charlotte at the beginning of a seven-game homestand. Good seats are still available at the McCoy Stadium box office, by calling (401) 724-7300 or by visiting pawsox.com.
