Three Royals Called to AHL

Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Stefano Giliati ["JILL ee AH tee"] and defenseman Joey Ryan have been recalled by the Marlies. Also today, the Royals loaned forward Daniel Steiner ["STINE er"] to the Rochester Americans of the AHL. In separate a transaction also announced today, goaltender Andrew Engelage ["EHN geh LADJZ"] has been reassigned to the Royals from the Marlies.
The Royals travel to First Arena in Elmira, New York tonight (Saturday, December 19, 2009 @ 7:35) for the first time this season to face the Jackals for the second of what will be three consecutive games between Reading and Elmira. Reading's game night broadcast on Friday on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will kick off at 7:05 pm.
