The Lehigh Valley IronPigs head north for a five-game series beginning tonight at 7:05.
PITCHING MATCHUP Tom Eshelman gets the start Monday night against Tom Pannone for Buffalo. The pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.
Eshelman looks to continue his impressive second half tonight against Buffalo. Although he has not earned a victory, Eshelman, over his last eight starts has a 3.88 ERA. Pannone is making his second start of the season against the Pigs. In that contest, Lehigh Valley prevailed 5-3 and Pannone took the loss after allowing three home runs.
LAST GAME The IronPigs were unable to complete their sweep of Columbus, falling 14-8 Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Park. Click here to read a full recap
HEAD-TO-HEAD The Pigs are 10-3 against the Bisons this season. This series is the last time they will meet the top Blue Jays affiliate in 2018. So far the Pigs are undefeated at Coca-Cola Field after a two game sweep of Buffalo in June.
This marks the third consecutive season that the Pigs have won at least 10 games against the Bisons. Lehigh Valley is a combined 30-16 against the Bisons since 2016.
THIS WEEK AT COCA-COLA PARK The IronPigs return home Friday, August 3 for a three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs. Stick around after the game on Friday for Aerosmith Fireworks presented by Coors Light.
