TONIGHT'S GAME: The Louisville Bats have won 11 of their 13 last games, coming off 4 consecutive series victories. LOU won a season-high 9 games in a row, before dropping 2 in a row, and most recently getting back on track with a 2-game winning streak. Last night, Blake Trahan clinched the Bats' fourth straight series win with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning.

AGAINST TOLEDO: The Louisville Bats and Toledo Mud Hens meet for their fourth and final series at Fifth Third Field this season. In their last meeting, Toledo took 2 of 3 against Louisville at Louisville Slugger Field heading into the All-Star break. The Bats will face off against a divisional opponent for the first time since July 15 vs. Columbus, playing their previous 14 games against teams based in the Empire State.

FOUR SERIES WINS IN A ROW: The Bats have currently won 4 series in a row. Before this current run, Louisville last won 4+ straight series from April 24 - May 8, 2016, sweeping 3 games at Norfolk (4/24-4/26), taking 4 of 5 from Durham in a split series (4/27-5/1), taking 2 of 3 vs. Norfolk (5/2-5/4) and taking 2 of 3 at Indianapolis (5/6-5/8).

-The Bats last won 4+ consecutive series without a split series involved from May 15-27, 2015, sweeping 3 games at Gwinnett (5/15-5/17), taking 2 of 3 vs. Norfolk (5/18-5/20), 3 of 4 vs. Pawtucket (5/21-5/24) and 2 of 3 vs. Toledo (5/25-5/27).

STEPHENSON WINS IL PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Louisville right-hander Robert Stephenson was named International League Pitcher of the Week for July 23-29, the second Bats pitcher to win the weekly award this season after Kevin Quackenbush took home the honors for June 25-July 1. Stephenson made 2 starts last week, going 1-0 and allowing just 2 earned runs in 14.0 innings, a 1.29 ERA. His seven-inning complete game shutout in game one of a doubleheader vs. Buffalo on July 24 was the first 7.0 inning CG shutout by a Louisville pitcher since Homer Bailey tossed one on May 2, 2009, also vs. Buffalo. Stephenson has made 4 starts in the month of July (all quality starts), giving up just 4 earned runs in 27.0 innings, a 1.33 ERA, walking 10 and striking out 25.

WALK-OFF TRAHAN: Bats shortstop Blake Trahan went 3-for-4 with a walk and 2 RBI, including the walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Bats their fifth walk-off win of the season. Trahan has two walk-off hits this season, and has actually been at the plate for 3 of the Bats' 5 walk-off wins. Back on April 25 vs. Charlotte, Trahan laid down a sacrifice bunt, which Knights third baseman Ryan Brett proceeded to make an error, allowing the Bats to win a 2-1 game in 10 innings.

RED-HOT SUMMER: The Bats finished June with a winning record (14-13), and have clinched a winning record for the month of July. It's the first time the Bats have put together back-to-back months of winning baseball since April and May 2016, going 12-9 and 16-14, respectively.

SCHEBLER ON REHAB: In 4 games during his current rehab stint, Scott Schebler is batting .167 (2-for-12) with 4 walks and one strikeout at the plate. The Major League rehabber has appeared at designated hitter in each of his 4 starts.
