Strome Traded To Florida

November 1, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that forward Anders Strome was traded to the Florida Everblades in exchange for financial considerations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 6'3", 210-pound Strome played in four games with Long Beach, registering one assist with no penalty minutes and a -5. It was necessary for the Ice Dogs to make room on the roster for Mac Faulkner, who was recently sent down from his AHL team in Binghampton and is expected to play tomorrow night.

"This was a tough decision to make", said Ice Dogs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron. "Strome is a quality player and quality person".

The Ice Dogs take on the San Diego Gulls tomorrow night at 7pm at the Long Beach Arena. Season tickets for the 2005-06 season are still on sale, and can be secured by depositing just $100 per seat. Call (562) ICE-DOGS for visit www.icedogs.com for more information.
