LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-1-1

OVERALL RECORD: 3-1-1, 7 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

Oct. 28 @ Long Beach, 5-2 Win - Luke Curtin factored in all five Falcons goals with four of his own and an assist as the club started the season with a record of 3-0-0 for the first time in its 11-year professional history.

Oct. 29 vs. Idaho, 7-6 Shootout Loss - The Falcons started fast and built several leads throughout the game, including a 6-3 edge early in the third period. The Steelheads rallied to tie at the game at six, though, and eventually prevailed in a shootout.

Oct. 30 vs. Idaho, 5-3 Loss - Fresno suffered its first regulation loss of the year as they fell to the Steelheads, the league's hottest team to start the season at 5-0-0.

Friday, Nov. 4 vs. Stockton Thunder, 7 p.m. - Second of 10 meetings this season against the Falcons' newest Highway 99 rivals. First 2,000 fans will receive a Falcons mouse pad. Saturday, Nov. 5 @ Long Beach Ice Dogs, 7 p.m. - Fresno looks for another win on the road against the Ice Dogs. Live radio broadcast on 1550 Sporting News Radio begins at 6:45 p.m. B2 Networks video webcast will not be available (B2 Networks will not be available for any games from Long Beach, Utah, and Victoria).

Sunday, Nov. 6 vs. Bakersfield Condors, 5 p.m. - First 2,000 fans receive Falcons Poster #2 in a series of five. Kids 12 & under FREE! Live radio broadcast on 1550 Sporting News Radio begins at 4:45 p.m. B2 Networks pay-per-view video webcast begins at face-off via www.fresnofalcons.com.

NOTES

With his goal-scoring exploits on Friday at Long Beach, Curtin became the eighth player in team history to score four goals in one game. He begins the week tied for second in the league in goals (5) and third in the league in points (10).

Five Falcons are tied for second on the team in scoring with six points apiece: Pete Fregoe (2g-4a), Derek Krestanovich (1g-5a), Shawn Mather (2g-4a), Cory Murphy (2g-4a), and J.F. Plourde (3g-3a).

Plourde is tied for the ECHL lead with three power play goals.

The Falcons scored the first goal in each of their first four games and did not trail in any game until Idaho opened the scoring on Sunday 9:12 into the first period.

The Falcons continue to sit atop the Pacific Division, three points ahead of second place Bakersfield.
