STORM NOTES

- Insert Power Here! Friday night saw the Storm power play plugged in the right outlet as Toledo went 3 for 6. Toledo's power play has connected on 6 of its last 19 chances, and has 44 goals in 283 season chances (15.5%). Quotable...Storm Assistant Coach Tony MacAulay said prior to Friday's game "I really like the way our power play is moving the puck right now. We are due for a big game."

- The Race is on! Toledo collected 3 of 4 possible points this past weekend. The Storm enter this week of play 1 point behind Wheeling for the forth and final playoff spot, and is just 5 points behind first place Atlantic City.

- Carl Mallette! Mallette collected four points last week (2-2), and has 11 (6-5) in 5 games with the Storm. For the season, Carl has 30 goals and 46 assists. He is the current points leader in the ECHL

- Shot Put! The Storm slapped 50 shots on Trenton Saturday night. That is the second most Toledo has attempted this season. The first was October 29th against Peoria (54). Toledo also had 23 shots in the second period of play Saturday, which is the most Toledo has had in a single period.

STORM WATCH

- Due to the Storm taking on Reading Tuesday night, The Toledo Storm Coach's Show will not air this week. The show will return next Tuesday night (March 29th) at 6pm live at the Bronze Boar.

- The Toledo Storm will return to action this Tuesday night at the Reading Royals. Toledo is 3-4-0 against the Royals this season, including 1-2-0 at Reading. The Royals enter the match just one point behind Atlantic City for first in the North division. Scooter Smith has collected 4 assists in 5 games against the Royals, and goaltender Scott Fankhouser is 2-2-0 with a 2.13 goals against average and a 0.925 save percentage.

- Friday night starts the first of three straight games against the Dayton Bombers. Toledo is 6-0-1 against Dayton this season. The Storm has out scored the Bombers 29-17 so far this year. Nick Parillo has 1 goal and 8 assists in the 7 games against Dayton. Goaltender Scott Fankhouser is 5-0-1 with a 1.63 GAA and a 0.936 SVP.

Carl has collected 11 points (6-5) in his first 5 games with the Toledo Storm.
