ECHL This Week – March 21 – Divisions

National Conference - North Division

Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies
* J.F. Plourde has eight points (3g-5a) and in his last five games.
* Atlantic City is 6-2-1 in its last nine games against North Division opponents.
* Atlantic City visits Trenton on Friday and hosts Johnstown on Saturday and Sunday.

Dayton Bombers
* Jeff Szwez has 11 points (7g-4a) and in his last 10 games.
* Michael Ayers is 3-3-1 with a 3.23 goals-against average in his last seven starts.
* Dayton visits Reading on Thursday and Toledo on Friday before hosting Toledo on Saturday.

Johnstown Chiefs
* Joe Tallari leads the Chiefs in scoring in March with nine points (5g-4a).
* Matt J. Reid's three shorthand goals rank second among ECHL rookies.
* Johnstown visits Peoria on Tuesday and Wednesday, Reading on Friday and Atlantic City on Saturday and Sunday.

Peoria Rivermen
* Alfie Michaud had 25 saves to earn his fifth shutout in 7-0 win at Johnstown on Thursday.
* Brian McCullough has 14 goals in his last 18 games and ranks second in the ECHL in goals (33).
* Peoria hosts Johnstown on Tuesday and Wednesday and Wheeling on Friday and Saturday.

Reading Royals
* Barry Brust is 6-0-1 with three shutouts and goals against of 0.71 in his last seven starts.
* Royals are tied for second in the ECHL with 13 shorthand goals.
* Reading hosts Toledo on Tuesday, Dayton on Thursday and Johnstown on Friday before visiting Trenton on Saturday.

Toledo Storm
* Carl Mallette has 11 points (6g-5a) in five games with Toledo.
* Storm defenseman P.J. Martin leads the team in plus-minus rating (+12).
* Toledo visits Reading on Tuesday and Dayton on Saturday while hosting Dayton on Friday.

Trenton Titans
* Scott Bertoli has 11 points (3g-8a) and in his last five games.
* Trenton's penalty kill is 19th in the ECHL at 82.4 percent (252-for-306).
* Trenton hosts Atlantic City on Friday and Reading on Saturday.

Wheeling Nailers
* Defenseman Ray DiLauro leads the ECHL in power-play assists (24) and points (33).
* Nailers power play ranks sixth in the ECHL at 18.0 percent (55-for-306).
* Wheeling visits Peoria on Friday and Saturday.

American Conference - East Division

Augusta Lynx
* Jamie Johnson is second in the league with 49 assists and tied for third with 69 points.
* Lynx power play leads the ECHL at 20.5 percent (53-for-259).
* Augusta hosts Columbia on Thursday and Pensacola on Friday before visiting Pensacola on Saturday.

Charlotte Checkers
* Alex Westlund leads the league in minutes (2687) while ranking second in saves (1274) and fourth in wins (25).
* Lee Falardeau leads ECHL rookies with five game-winning goals.
* Charlotte visits Columbia on Friday and South Carolina on Saturday.

Columbia Inferno
* Brad Ralph is tied for third in the ECHL with seven game-winning goals.
* Trevor Demmans ranks second among ECHL defensemen in plus-minus rating (+24).
* Columbia hosts Florida on Tuesday and Charlotte on Friday while traveling to Augusta on Thursday and Greenville on Saturday.

Greenville Grrrowl
* Mike Brodeur leads the league in shootout percentage (91.4 percent).
* Simon Ferguson has 10 points (1g-9a) in his last 10 games.
* Visits South Carolina on Tuesday before hosting the Stingrays on Friday and Columbia on Saturday.

Pee Dee Pride
* Gregg Johnson has an 11-game scoring streak (10g-8a).
* Darryl Green is tied for second among league defensemen with seven power-play goals.
* Pee Dee visits Louisiana on Wednesday and Sunday and Texas on Friday and Saturday.

South Carolina Stingrays
* Rookie Joe Tenute is third in the ECHL in goals (30) and is tied for fifth with 66 points.
* Mark Ardelan leads ECHL defensemen with 15 goals and is third with 44 points.
* South Carolina hosts Greenville on Tuesday and Charlotte on Saturday and visits the Grrrowl on Friday.

American Conference - South Division

Florida Everblades
* Tyler MacKay is 6-1-0 with goals against of 1.57, allowing 11 goals on 149 shots.
* Six-game winning streak ended with 3-2 shootout loss to Greenville on Friday.
* Everblades travel to Columbia on Tuesday before returning home to face Victoria on Friday and Saturday.

Gwinnett Gladiators
* Gwinnett has killed off its last 17 penalties and leads the league in penalty kill (88.1 percent).
* Gladiators have six players who have scored over 40 points.
* Gladiators play at Fresno on Tuesday, at Long Beach on Wednesday, at Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday and at San Diego on Sunday.

Louisiana IceGators
* Seven of Louisiana's 17 goals in March are power-play goals (7-for-41, 17.1 percent).
* Wes Mason has the game winner in IceGators' last two wins to lead the team with five.
* IceGators play at Mississippi on Friday while hosting Mississippi on Saturday and Pee Dee on Wednesday and Sunday.

Mississippi Sea Wolves
* Sea Wolves lead the ECHL in shootout winning percentage with .800 (8-2).
* Mike Jarmuth has 11 goals and needs one to tie the team record for goals by rookie defenseman.
* Sea Wolves host Victoria on Wednesday and Louisiana on Friday and play at Louisiana on Saturday.

Pensacola Ice Pilots
* Ice Pilots are 11-3-3 when tied after the second period, tying them for the ECHL lead.
* Pensacola has won its last four games, the last three decided by one goal.
* Pensacola hosts Victoria on Tuesday and Augusta on Saturday while playing at Augusta on Friday and at Texas on Sunday.

Texas Wildcatters
* John Snowden has four goals in the last four games and seven goals in the last 10 games.
* Wildcatters have 25 goals in 11 games in March compared to 30 goals in February.
* Wildcatters host Pee Dee on Friday and Saturday and Pensacola on Sunday.

National Conference - West Division

Alaska Aces
* Chris Minard scored seven points (4g-3a) and Aces were 4-2-0 on recent six-game road trip.
* Alaska (17-3-3) has lost three games since January 29, all against Bakersfield.
* Aces play final home series, hosting Las Vegas on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Bakersfield Condors
* Kevin St. Jacques has five points (2g-3a) in his last two games.
* Since joining team, Mathieu Brunelle has eight goals, including two game winners, in 10 games.
* Condors host Long Beach on Tuesday and Gwinnett on Friday and Saturday while traveling to Long Beach on Sunday.

Fresno Falcons
* Defenseman Charles Simard leads the team with six points (2g-4a) in the last five games.
* Fresno has the ECHL's fourth-best power play 19.19 percent (57-for-297).
* Falcons host Gwinnett on Tuesday and play at Idaho on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Idaho Steelheads
* Frank Doyle leads ECHL goaltenders in wins (28) and is fourth in goals-against average (2.09).
* Steelheads have won four straight games, outscoring their opponents 17-5.
* Idaho hosts Fresno on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Las Vegas Wranglers
* Marc Magliarditi is 3-1-1 with goals against of 2.02 in his last five starts.
* Wranglers' power play is second in the ECHL at 20.2 percent (56-for-277).
* Wranglers play at Alaska on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Long Beach Ice Dogs
* Joe Cardarelli had a hat trick and was +5 in 8-1 win at San Diego on Friday.
* Christian Larrivee has scored in six of his last eight games (3g-8a).
* Ice Dogs host Bakersfield on Tuesday, Gwinnett on Wednesday and San Diego on Saturday while playing at San Diego on Friday and at Bakersfield on Sunday.

San Diego Gulls
* San Diego's seven wins when trailing after the second period (7-19-0) ties it for the ECHL lead.
* Home power play is third in the league (20.5 percent) and road power play is 24th (12.8 percent).
* Gulls host Long Beach on Friday and Gwinnett on Sunday and play at Long Beach on Saturday.

Victoria Salmon Kings
* In their last three games, Salmon Kings are 2-1-0 and averaging 4.33 goals per-game.
* Jamie McCaig is 2-1-0 with goals against of 3.36 in his last three starts.
* Victoria visits Pensacola on Tuesday, Mississippi on Wednesday and Florida on Friday and Saturday.
