Ice Pilots Have Foru Game Winning Streak & Continue Best Record In ECHL

Ice Pilots go 2-0-0 this week and continue with the best record in the ECHL at 43-14-5 for 91 points. The Ice Pilots won both games this past week at Augusta. The Ice Pilots won 3-2 at Augusta on Friday night and won 2-1 at Augusta on Saturday night. The Ice Pilots are on a four game winning streak with a record of 43-14-5 for 91 points. The 43 wins and 91 points are franchise records for most wins and points for an Ice Pilots team during the regular season.

The Ice Pilots won 3-2 on Friday night in Augusta. Jordan Krestanovich, Ryan Vince and Cory Stillman scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Louis Goulet and Eric Johansson scored goals for Augusta. The Ice Pilots had 39 shots, 42 penalty minutes and went 0-7 on the power play. Augusta had 25 shots, 36 penalty minutes and went 2-5 on the power play. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie and Jason Saal took the loss in goal.

The Ice Pilots won 2-1 on Saturday night at Augusta. Aaron Gionet and Dwayne Hay scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. John Cronin scored for Augusta. The Ice Pilots had 27 shots on goal, 10 penalty minutes and went 0-5 on the power play. Augusta had 44 shots on goal, 12 penalty minutes and went 0-4 on the power play. Todd Ford was the winning goalie and Jason Saal took the loss in goal for the Lynx.

The Ice Pilots have a record of 43-14-5 for 91 points. The 43 wins and 91 points are the most ever by an Ice Pilots team during the regular season. The Ice Pilots have won four games in a row.

Race for the Brabham Cup. The Brabham Cup is awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the regular season. The magic number is 10 points for the Ice Pilots to win the Brabham Cup.

It is another Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. It will be the first ever meeting between the two teams and the Ice Pilots will play home to Augusta on Saturday, March 26. It is IHOP Bunny Toss Night on March 26. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed bunny to the game and when the Ice Pilots score the first goal of the game to toss the stuffed bunnies onto the ice. The stuffed bunnies will be distributed to kids at local hospitals and schools throughout the Pensacola area. The Easter Bunny will be at the game for kids to have their picture taken with and the first 500 fans will receive IHOP Ice Pilots Player Cards.

The Ice Pilots will Play home to Victoria this Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. for the first time in team history. Victoria is an expansion team this season in the ECHL and have a record of 13-46-5 for 31 points.

The Ice Pilots will play at Augusta on Friday night at 6:35 p.m. central time and play home to Augusta on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 5-0-1 vs. Augusta this season including a record of 3-0-0 at home and 2-0-! 1 on the road. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 14-3-3 vs. Au gusta including a record of 7-0-1 at home and 7-3-2 on the road.

The Ice Pilots will also play on the road this Easter Sunday at Texas at 5:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 6-1 vs. Texas this season including a record of 4-0 at home and 2-1 on the road. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 15-4-2 vs. Texas including a home record of 10-1-0 and an away record of 5-3-2.

Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 66 points and is the fourth leading scorer in the league. Beechey also leads the team with 27 goals. Beechey has been recalled to St. John's of the AHL. Aaron Phillips leads the team with 42 assists which is the fifth best in the league. Phillips also leads the team with a plus 27 plus/minus rating which is the fourth best in the league. Corey Neilson is the second leading scoring defenseman in the league with 48 points. Nielson also is fourth in the league among defenseman with 12 goals and is second among all defenseman with 36 assists. Todd Ford has the 7th best goals against average in the league at 2.20. Frederic Cloutier is second in the league among goalies with 27 wins and is third in the league with 1,220 saves. Cloutier is 12th in the league with a 2.34 goals against average. Scott May is second in the league with a .203 shooting percentage.

Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will practice Monday at 10 a.m. and will have a pre skate on Tuesday at the Civic Center at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will play home to Victoria on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will practice on Wednesday Morning tentatively at 10 a.m. and leave for Augusta Wednesday night at Midnight. The Ice Pilots will practice in Augusta on Thursday and play at Augusta on Friday night at 6:35 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will play home to Augusta on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. and will play at Texas on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.

Ice Pilots Announce Ticket Packages for Kelly Cup Playoffs and 2005-06 Regular Season: The 14 home game Kelly Cup Playoff ticket invoices have been mailed out. Current Season Ticket holders who purchase the playoff package will have the option to apply any unused balance of the playoff tickets to next year's season tickets or have their balance refunded if any of the 14 home playoff games are not played. Playoff payments are due in full by March 31, 2005. Fans will be able to pick up their Kelly Cup Playoff tickets beginning Tuesday, April 5th at the Ice Pilots office during regular business hours. Fans will also be able to pick up their Kelly Cup Playoff Tickets at the Ice Pilots last regular season home game on Saturday, April 9th at the customer service table behind section 107. No tickets will be mailed out.

The renewal process for the 2005-2006 season tickets has begun. There is a dollar increase per ticket for all ticket types in all price levels for 2005-06. Early Bird Special: Season ticket holders can put down a $50 deposit per ticket thru March 31, 2005 with the full balance for 2005-06 season tickets due in full by September 1, 2005. There is a monthly payment plan option of 12 payments, beginning May 1, 2005 and ending April 1, 2006.

Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Dwayne Hay has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the Week. Hay scored a goal and picked up two assists this week. Goalie Todd Ford has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Ford stopped 43 out of 44 shots in the win vs. Augusta on Saturday night. Hay has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.

Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com. Tyler Beechey is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 66 points. Jordan Krestanovich is second with 54 points. Aaron Phillips is third with 53 points and Dwayne Hay is fourth with 49 points.

GEICO Three Stars of the Game: GEICO will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots Three Stars of the Game once again on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network this season and at every home game. Three lucky fans at home games will receive a t-shirt from the GEICO Three Stars of the Game this season. Season Ticket Packages are available with year round payments: Full season ticket packages and 16 game packages are available with year round payments. The following is a list of the full season ticket plan with year round payments: $22 seats for floor and glass is $49.99 per month, $15 seats for sides is $35.99 per month, $13 seats for goal and lower upper level is $32.99 per month, $10 seats for upper level is $24.99 per month.

Season tickets cost $649.44 for floor and glass seats, $459.00 for sides, $411.84 for behind the goal and lower upper level seats and $324.00 for upper level seats.

Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have nine players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are center Scott May, goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Robb Palahnuk left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Dominic D'Amour, Robb Palahnuk, Cam Keith, Tyler Beechey and Kris Newbury have been recalled to St. John's of the AHL. Bill Kinkel and Jason Beckett have been recalled to Houston of the AHL.

Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sunday's game are available on pay per view webcast and Friday's game at Augusta is not.

Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long. Ryan O'Keefe and David Turon will be the player guests tonight.
