STORM NOTES

- Three In 1 For Z! Saturday night in Johnstown, Maris Ziedins became the first Storm player to score 3 goals in one game this year. Maris added an assist for a four-point night.

- Judson Watch Heats Up! By scoring his eighth goal of the season in the second period Sunday afternoon, Rick Judson moved to within one goal of tying Andrew Williamson for the most in Toledo Storm history.

- Five is Great! Toledo's 5-2 win in Johnstown Saturday night was the fourth time this season that the Storm had scored five goals or more in a game, and the first time since November 25th.

- Toledo is 9-6-0 at home and 9-8-3 on the road this year.

- Toledo's power play unit ranks 19TH in the ECHL, with 25 power play goals in 155 chances (16.1%).

- The penalty kill unit of Toledo has allowed just 21 goals in 150 chances against this season (86.0%). That is 6th in the ECHL.

STORM WATCH

- On Tuesday night, it is another edition of the Toledo Storm Coach's Show. Join Assistant Coach Tony MacAulay and defenseman P.J. Martin this week and the voice of the Storm Matt Melzak live at the Bronze Boar from 6-7pm. The Boar is located at 20 South Huron Street. The Coach's Show can be heard live this week on Fox Sports Radio 1230!

- Toledo returns to action Friday night against the Wheeling Nailers. Toledo is 3-2-1 against the Nailers this season with Wheeling winning the last encounter 3-1 January 9th. Goaltender Scott Fankhouser is 3-1-1 against the Nailers this season, with a 1.58 goals against average and a .947 save percentage. Three of Tyler Knight's team leading 15 goals has come against the Nailers. This is also the final match up between he division rivals in the Sports Arena this season.

- Saturday night features a pair of games. First at 5pm, it is a match up of two goliaths, as the Toledo Alumni take on the Detroit Alumni. The night will honor the 1974-75 Turner Cup Champion Toledo Goaldiggers. Following that game, the Storm will play host to the Dayton Bombers. Toledo is 5-0-0 vs. the Bombers this season. Scott Fankhouser is 4-0-0, and Maris Ziedins has 3 goals and 5 assists against Dayton this year.

- Sunday afternoon, the Storm will play Dayton for the fifth and final time in the month of January.

Maris Ziedins (3 goals - 2 assists = 5 points)

Maris erupted Saturday night in Johnstown with a 4-point night that featured a 3-goal outburst. Maris also added an assist in Friday's 2-1 win in Dayton.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Scott Fankhouser (2-1-0, 7GA & 67SV)

Scott continued his stellar play over the weekend winning two more games. He has started the last 8 games for the Storm with a record of 5-3-0.
