American Conference - East Division
Augusta Lynx
* Todd Bennett has the game-winning goal in three of Augusta's last five
wins.
* Lynx power play is 11-for-43 (25.6 percent) in January.
* Lynx go on the road to face Florida on Tuesday, Mississippi on Friday and
Texas on Saturday and Sunday.
Charlotte Checkers
* Charlotte is 5-0-0 and has outscored its opponent 22-12 in the last five
games, all home games.
* Kelly Guard and Alex Westlund each have 11 wins and identical 2.97
goals-against average.
* Checkers host Johnstown on Thursday before visiting Greenville on Friday
and Columbia on Saturday.
Columbia Inferno
* Chanse Fitzpatrick has a game winner and seven points (3g-4a) in his last
five games.
* Inferno rank fifth in the league on penalty kill (86.6 percent) and have
six shorthand goals.
* Columbia hosts Greenville on Tuesday, South Carolina on Friday and
Charlotte on Saturday.
Greenville Grrrowl
* Carl Mallette had four assists on Saturday and leads the league in
scoring with 48 points.
* Defenseman Jason Metcalf leads the Grrrowl with a +8 in his last six
games.
* Greenville plays at Columbia on Tuesday then returns home to face
Charlotte on Friday and Mississippi on Saturday.
Pee Dee Pride
* Chad Spurr (5g-12a) and Allen Sirois (7g-9a) both have a nine-game
scoring streak.
* Pee Dee's power play is 14-for-43 (32.6 percent) in eight games in
January.
* Pride hosts Louisiana on Friday and Johnstown on Saturday.
South Carolina Stingrays
* Stingrays are 5-0-0 and have outscored their opponents 19-9 in the last
five games.
* Stingrays lead the ECHL in power play (19.2 percent) and in penalty kill
(90.2 percent).
* Stingrays host Johnstown on Tuesday, Louisiana on Saturday and Johnstown
on Sunday while traveling to Columbia on Friday.
American Conference - South Division
Florida Everblades
* Reggie Berg has an assist in each of his last six games and scored his
100th professional goal in 4-3 overtime loss to Pee Dee on Saturday.
* Florida ranks 28th in the league on power play (11.7 percent) and penalty
kill (77.1 percent).
* Everblades host Augusta on Tuesday and Gwinnett on Friday and Saturday.
Gwinnett Gladiators
* Kris Goodjohn has an assist in 20 of his 31 games and leads Gwinnett with
28 assists.
* Adam Smyth has three game-winning goals, tying him with Cam Brown for the
team lead.
*Gwinnett visits Florida on Friday and Saturday.
Louisiana IceGators
* Wes Mason is fourth in the ECHL in scoring with 38 points (18g-20a) in 37
games.
* Louisiana snapped a five-game losing streak and a 10-game road winless
streak with a 4-3 win at Mississippi on Thursday.
* Louisiana visits Pee Dee on Friday and South Carolina on Saturday.
Mississippi Sea Wolves
* Matt Underhill picked up his third shutout with a 5-0 win at Gwinnett on
Saturday.
* Defenseman Kerry Ellis-Toddington has four points (2g-2a) in his last
three games.
* Mississippi hosts Augusta on Friday before traveling to Greenville on
Saturday.
Pensacola Ice Pilots
* Ice Pilots' forward Tyler Beechey has 13 points (4g-9a) in his last six
games.
* Chosen to the All-Star Game, Todd Ford is 11-2-0 with .941 save
percentage in 14 games.
* Pensacola visits Fresno on Tuesday, Long Beach on Friday and Sunday and
San Diego on Saturday.
Texas Wildcatters
* Phil Osaer has goals-against average of 2.77 and save percentage of .924
in 24 games.
* John Snowden leads the team with 13 goals and is second on the team with
25 points.
* Texas returns home to host Augusta on Saturday and Sunday.
National Conference - West Division
Alaska Aces
* Scott Gomez leads the ECHL with 35 assists and Chris Minard leads the
league with 26 goals.
* Aces have a team plus-minus rating of +65 through the first eight games
of January.
* Aces play at Victoria on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Bakersfield Condors
* Condors lead the league in wins (23), winning percentage (.689) and
points (51).
* Yutaka Fukufuji is 5-1-1 with goals-against average of 2.30 and save
percentage of .922 in January.
* Condors are on the road at Idaho on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Fresno Falcons
* Falcons are 7-0-1 in their last eight games, six of which have been
one-goal games (5-0-1).
* Fresno leads the league with 948 penalty minutes in 36 games.
* Falcons host Pensacola on Tuesday and Las Vegas on Sunday.
Idaho Steelheads
* Steelheads power play is 24.3 percent (9-for-37) through nine games in
January.
* Sixteen different players have scored a power-play goal for Idaho.
* Idaho hosts Bakersfield on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Las Vegas Wranglers
* Chris Stanley and Dustin Johner lead ECHL rookies with seven power-play
goals each.
* Las Vegas has allowed only six goals total in the second and third period
the last eight games.
* Wranglers play at San Diego on Wednesday and Friday, at Long Beach on
Saturday and at Fresno on Sunday.
Long Beach Ice Dogs
* Nathan Martz leads ECHL rookies in plus-minus rating (+17).
* Chris Madden (13-4-2) is the league leader with a save percentage of
.946.
* Ice Dogs travel to Victoria on Tuesday and Wednesday before returning
home to host Las Vegas on Saturday and Pensacola on Sunday.
San Diego Gulls
* Gulls have four players with at least 10 power-play points.
* San Diego has won its last four, scoring four goals in every game and
winning 4-3 three times.
* Gulls host Las Vegas on Wednesday and Friday and Pensacola on Saturday.
Victoria Salmon Kings
* Victoria has the league's best home power play (22.7 percent), scoring 15
goals in 14 games.
* Salmon Kings have not won since December 31, going 0-10-1 in January.
* Kings host Long Beach on Tuesday and Wednesday and Alaska on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday.
National Conference - North Division
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies
* Fraser Clair (2g-1a) and Brett Nowak (1g-2a) led the Bullies scoring in
4-3 shootout win against Reading on Saturday.
* Derek Edwardson scored his second shorthand goal in 4-1 loss at Reading
on Friday.
* Atlantic City visits Peoria on Friday and Sunday.
Dayton Bombers
* Michael Schutte had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Wheeling on
Saturday.
* In spite of 2.71 goals-against average, Michael Ayers is 2-7-1 in his
last 10 games.
* Dayton visits Wheeling on Friday and Toledo on Saturday and Sunday.
Johnstown Chiefs
* Rookie All-Star selection Jean Desrochers has 28 points (10g-18a) in 33
games.
* Matt J. Reid is tied for the lead among rookies with three shorthand
goals.
* Johnstown travels to South Carolina on Tuesday and Pee Dee on Saturday.
Peoria Rivermen
* Brian McCullough has four goals in the last three games leads the team
with 16 goals.
* Peoria has won four consecutive home games to improve to 8-5-2 at home.
* Peoria hosts Atlantic City on Friday and Sunday.
Reading Royals
* Playing 13 games in 20 days, Reading was 9-2-2.
* Matt Yeats is 5-0-1 in his last six starts.
* Reading hosts Trenton on Friday and Saturday.
Toledo Storm
* Maris Ziedins had two power-play goals and four points (3g-1a) in 5-2 win
against Johnstown on Saturday.
* Scott Fankhouser is 5-2-0 with two shootout wins in his last seven
starts.
* Toledo hosts Wheeling on Friday and Dayton on Saturday and Sunday.
Trenton Titans
* Trenton was shutout for the first time in 2004-05 on Friday, losing 2-0
at Peoria.
* Despite back-to-back losses at Peoria, Trenton leads the league in
road-winning percentage (.688).
* Trenton travels to Reading on Friday and Saturday.
Wheeling Nailers
* Ed McGrane has 14 points (4g-10a) and is a +4 in the Nailers' last 10
games.
* Ray DiLauro leads Wheeling defensemen in goals (8), assists (17) and
points (25).
* Wheeling hosts Dayton on Wednesday before visiting Toledo on Friday.
