Storm final notes

- Jim Abbott finished the season as the Storm leader in points with 56 (26-30). In Toledo, Jim netted 7 goals and added 17 assists in the 35 games he played with the Storm since being acquired from Pensacola on January 14, 2004.

- Rick Judson finished the 2003-04 campaign with 11 goals and 16 assists in 70 games with the Storm. With this season Rick is the Storm all-time leader in games played (388), assists (232), and points (413). His 70 games played tied a career high (98-99 with Greenville) and is the most he has played in a season with Toledo.

- Kris Waltze may have finished the season on injured reserve, but still ended with his best offensive output since 1999-00. Kris ended with 8 goals and 5 assists with Toledo this year. With the San Angelo Outlaws of the WPHL Waltze had 12 goals and 7 assists in that year.

- Jimi St. John started Saturday night in Reading making 23 first period saves. That set a season high for a Toledo Storm goaltender. Jimi also had a shutout in his Storm debut January 31st against Roanoke (6-0).

- Although Alexandre Jacques finished the season with Atlantic City, he was the only Storm player to net 3 goals in a game. Alex had 3 against Dayton on November 21st, and then again on January 13th in Greenville. Jacques was also the only Storm player to score a Sixth Attacker Goal (11/29 v. Peoria, and 12/6 v. Wheeling). Alex had 15 multiple point games through the course of the season, which is the most for the Storm this year.

- Defenseman Paul Ballantyne finished the year with the most points in a game with 6 against Wheeling November 22nd. In that contest, Paul set season highs in assists for a game (4); most assists in a period (3), and most points in a period (4).

- Morten Ask ended the year with the longest point streak of the season for a player at 9 games. The streak started on February 21st and lasted until March 12th. During his run, Morten collected 4 goals and 8 assists.

- Bryce Charpentier finished the 2003-04 campaign as the team leader in penalty minutes with 270. He collected 150 of those in 26 games with Toledo since his arrival January 30th from Greenville.

- Although the power play struggled all year long, finishing 30th in the ECHL at 11.0% (34 goals in 310 attempts), Toledo did have a breakout game with 5 PP goals on November 22 when Toledo defeated Wheeling 9-3.

- Toledo finished the season winless in it's last 8 games (0-7-1). The longest winless streak of the year for the Storm was 9 games from February 25th to March 14th (0-6-3), which is a Toledo Storm franchise record.

- Toledo started the 2003-04 with a four game unbeaten streak (3-0-1). That was the longest unbeaten stretch for the Storm this year. Toledo did enjoy a 3 game winning streak twice during the year. The first was December 20th to December 28th. The second time was January 13th to January 17th.

- The Storm finished 2003-04 with a record of 20-7-5 when scoring 3 or more goals in a game. Toledo also finished with a record of 21-13-6 when allowing 3 goals or less.

- The best day of the week for Toledo was Saturday, as the Storm collected 22 of a possible 48 points.

- Toledo finished 12-8-11 in one goal games this year, and 14-1-4 when leading after 2 periods.

- When scoring the first goal of a game this year the Storm finished with a 14-6-6 record.

- Toledo was held goalless in four of the final six games this season. The Storm was shutout nine times this season and finished with a record of 0-8-1 when held scoreless.

- Toledo's penalty kill unit ended the year ranked 23rd in the ECHL, killing off 266 of 328 chances against (81.1%).

- Toledo finished 11-19-6 at home this season and 12-19-5 on the road.

- The Storm went through one hundred thirteen different transactions through the year. Forty-seven different skaters wore a Storm sweater along with five different goaltenders that saw action this season.
